El Floridita is a historic fish restaurant and cocktail bar in the older part of Havana, is famous for its daiquiris and for having been one of the favourite hangouts of Ernest Hemingway.
He was an Italian engineer, Giacomo Pagliuchi, a friend of Cox, who gave him the name Daiquiri, for the city located in the southwest of Cuba, where they worked.
Our version of Daiquiri classic cocktail:
– 6cl Ron Tabú (white rhum)
– 1/2 Lime juice
– 2cl elderflower syrup
Preparation: “Shake” all the ingredients, serve it in Martini cup, and garnish with peel of lime.
